Heather & Adam – Delta Lodge Kananaskis

Mardi Gras in the Mountains…

Every once in awhile you get to work with a couple where everything just clicks and you get a truly spectacular event. That’s what I got with Heather & Adam on July 2nd at the Delta Lodge Kananaskis. Even though through the wedding planning process they (and I) were often separated by hundreds of kilometers, by the time we got to the wedding day I felt like I’d been friends with them for years. Heather’s giddy emails about the planning process always put a smile on my face, and her exclamation of “We’re Married” at the end of the ceremony was the icing on the cake!

The ceremony at Viewpoint #5 was spectacular.

The Mardi Gras theme was carried into the decor by Sonia Ulmer and the rest of her crew from Enriched Events.

In addition to music for the ceremony and reception, Heather & Adam were also early adopters of our photo booth where the Mardi Gras theme continued in our props.

After a fantastic dinner from the Delta Lodge, we turned to the dance floor. Heather & Adam shared their first dance together to Ben Harper – Happy Ever After In Your Eyes.
