Memories of 2009

Sure – it was a rocky year in a lot of ways, but in looking back over my year I have a lot of fond memories…

One of those memories was of Shane & Christy’s wedding back in August at the Triwood Community Center here in Calgary. We had a wonderful time and the minister sang a lovely rendition of Dire Strait’s – Why Worry during the ceremony. It was a touching day.

I came back across this memory as I was going through the cards of some of the wonderful people I’ve had an opportunity to work with this year – one of whom is the talented photographer Anna Michalska. I went to check out her website where she has a lovely blog full of her amazing work. Looking back through her posts I came across Shane & Christy’s wedding. I didn’t have a camera at the time (long story) so I didn’t get any pictures from the day. Luckily Anna was there! Here is one of the pictures from her site where I am set up in the background.
