We keep busy around here, sometimes even stepping in for couples when their original DJ bailed on them. While I took a much needed weekend off at the end of August, Ryan went out to Hotel Arts for Terri & Ronny’s wedding. Ryan kept the dance floor packed all night for Ronny & Terri. The DJ Ronny & Terri originally hired packed his bags and moved to Toronto, leaving the couple with little option but to seek out new entertainment. Tammy & Jason’s Wedding – Sheraton Cavalier

Some couples might be a little bit country, but Tammy & Jason are 100% Rock & Roll. Another mid-August wedding, Tammy & Jason had their reception at the Sheraton Cavalier in Northeast Calgary. We provided the DJ service and lights, but Tammy & Jason provided a group who was ready to have a great time! Peter & Angelica’s Wedding – Lougheed House

Peter & Angelica had their reception at the historic Lougheed House this past August. I arrived to set up the party in the basement while they had dinner & speeches upstairs. From what I could hear, they were having a great time at dinner and that great time continued when they came downstairs. They hit the dance floor with gusto! Kristin & Chris’s Wedding – Coast Plaza Hotel

Mid-August, while Ryan was at the Calgary Zoo, I was at the Coast Plaza Hotel & Conference Center to DJ Kristin & Chris’s wedding. Katherine & Doug’s Wedding – Calgary Zoo Safari Lodge

I kept Ryan busy in August with weddings and on August 13th he went to the Calgary Zoo and set up in the Safari Lodge for Katherine & Doug’s wedding. The Safari lodge is a fantastic space with high ceilings and great tribal artwork on the walls. A giant traditional canoe hangs from the ceiling above the dance floor. Karen & Thomas’s Wedding – Calgary Golf & Country Club

While I was out in Banff DJing at Allison & Andrew’s wedding, Ryan & Madi were at the Calgary Golf & Country Club for Karen & Thomas’s wedding. Ryan kept the party hopping with great tunes, while Madi ran one of our photo booths. They had the unenviable job of loading in all of their equipment while guests were already in the room and completing their setup without causing any disruption for the guests. Allison & Andrew’s Wedding – Banff Springs Hotel

Allison & Andrew got married on the first of August at the historic Banff Springs Hotel with their ceremony overlooking the valley and their reception taking place in Mt. Stephen Hall. The Mt Stephen Hall truly represents The Fairmont Banff Springs’s position as “The Castle in the Rockies.” The high ceiling with oak beams, stone floor, and cathedral window with stained-glass crests, truly reflect the style of a baronial castle, while the soft amber lighting creates the perfect atmosphere in the evening. Ellen & Greg’s Wedding – Al Azhar Shrine Center

It was another hot day in July when Ellen & Greg got married at the Al Azhar Shrine Center. After a short ceremony on the banks of the lake, guests retired to the air-conditioned hall for cool drinks and reprieve from the sun.
